New York State Horse Council and sanctioned by Eastern
Competitive Trail Riding Association (ECTRA) will be held May

40th Annual New York State Horse Council
Fall Pleasure Ride

The ride will be held Friday through Monday, October 10 -13,
2008 (Columbus Day Weekend) at New York’s Brookfield Horse Trail
system.
Registration Fee: $15.00 for NYSHC members, $35.00 for
non-members, $10 for non–riders; no charge for children 12 years
of age and under.
All persons (including children) camping, attending and
participating in Ride Events must register.
Ride registration forms and information will be mailed mid May.
Ride registration forms will also be available for download June
1st .

Association (NYSHSRA) which is open to all middle school and high school
students in NY! It is very exciting to now have a NY team and we want
all of those students in NY, who are interested in competing in rodeo

Experience life in the 1800's. This is a 14 day, 180 mile Wagon Train
that will go throughout Cattaraugus County in Western NY. We will be
stopping & camping each night in a different Town along the
route--having a campfire, history, music, storytelling. Come ride,
drive, just watch or join at the campfire. $10/day to ride or drive.
Come for the day or 2 weeks. Period clothes are encouraged. Youths age
8-18 can enter the Contest an win a 1 day & 1 night, with a
parent/guardian, on the Wagon Train for free. Drawing July 12, 2008.
